Corona Virus – Honda pledges 11 crore aid to fight COVID-19
CSR arm of all Honda in India, Honda India Foundation, will support India’s fight against corona with Rs. 11 crore aid. India needs every one to pitch in for this fight against corona. This is a war, believe it or not. It is commendable to see how corporates are pouring in everything they can to tackle the crisis. As the number of cases are going up day by day, the central and state governments would need every bit of help they can.
Honda’s contribution for India’s fight against Corona

2. 2000 Honda powered High pressure backpack sprayers
3. Financial contribution to central & state governments
4. One day’s salary
2,000 Honda engine poweredÂ High Pressure Backpack SprayersÂ will be given to to the government agencies engaged in this activity. These sprayers are lightweight and powerful. These backpacks are used to spray disinfectant. This effort by each automobile manufacturer will definitely make an impact in this ongoing battle against the virus.
Additionally, Honda will support local administration efforts in all its manufacturing locations. Honda will make available its ambulances stationed at all its plants for medical emergencies and support with food packets to take care the poor and underprivileged in these difficult times.
Honda India Foundation will also contribute financial aid relief funds in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Rajasthan where manufacturing plants of Honda group companies are located. Associates across all 5 Honda group companies in India will voluntarily contribute one day’s salary to the relief funds.
